Sailing Taster/Intro Session

Minimum Age: 12yrs – Under 18yrs need to be accompanied by an adult
All equipment provided including buoyancy aid and wetsuit.
What you will learn
This is a 2hr course will give to get an insight into the world of sailing. No previous experience is necessary, just a desire to have fun!
Embark on your sailing journey with us! We'll start on the shore with a simulated boat to introduce you to the basics before launching. You'll learn how to properly sit in a boat, how to turn through the wind, and some essential sailing terminology. After that, we'll get on the water and put your newfound skills into practice. Our experienced instructor will be with you in the boat or nearby in a safety boat, providing guidance and support.
Our qualified instructors will introduce you to one of our dinghies, providing a demonstration of the boat controls and the necessary skills to sail successfully. Then, you'll be able to take the helm and explore the open waters with confidence. Whether you're a child or an adult, sailing is a popular activity with friends and/or family that is sure to create lasting memories.
The sailing taster/intro session is not an RYA course, this is purely a taster session with no certification.
