Where are you located?

Is there parking?

Yes, there is ample parking (pay and display) pay when you leave the car park

Can anyone use the lake with our own equipment?

Bawsey Bay Watersports will have the only authorisation to operate watersports on the lake.
We offer open paddle sessions at selected times where you can bring your own paddleboards and kayaks (you have to book in advance online)

Other than the open sessions, It's strictly no public access to the water, Only accessible by equipment hire and supervision from Bawsey Bay Watersports.

Can we swim?

No, swimming is not permitted in any of the lakes at Bawsey Estate and Country Park

What do I need to wear on the water?

We can provide wetsuits, however, depending on the time of year and weather, you may just want shorts/T-shirt.
We provide buoyancy aids which is a requirement on the lake.

Are there showers?

Unfortunately not

How long is the hire for?

We run our hire by the hour so as long as you feel

Do you take card payments?

Yes we can take card payments

Is there a secure area to leave our belongings?

All personal belonging are not at the responsibility of Bawsey Bay Watersports

How much does the kayak hire cost?

Single kayaks £20ph / Double kayaks £30ph
